The massive industries continue to grow.

Dakota Gasification has recently added two fertilizer by-products to further diversify their operation as well as the CO2 pipeline that sends gas into Canada to assist Pan Canadian in their oil recovery efforts.

Coteau Properties keeps expanding their mining operation and continually upgrades to larger equipment to assist with their mining operations.  An upclose view of the loading operation as you are in the pit below the massive dragline is certainly an "eye-opening" experience and will be talked about for days.

The Pfennig Museum will provide you with a hunting visual experience you may be able to see only by paging through the National Geographic magazines or combing through world wide hunting journals.  It's a national one of a kind mainly because it is a collection of one man.  As you enter the museum you will come face to face with a giant white polar bear and as you continue the tour you will encounter displays from many foreign countries from around the globe including - elephant, zebra, rhinoceros, baboon, crocodiles giraffes and more.  A special trip to Beulah or just a stop as you are passing through will be enhanced by the safari experience. The Mercer County Museum will give you the opportunity to relive the past.  Many displays are being added to give you the opportunity to reflect on the past as you enjoy discovering your heritage and show your grandchildren the lifestyles of the past as you tell them your stories of how you used to live.
